Edwardian Conservatories

An ideal place to relax and enjoy great views of your outdoor space

Edwardian Conservatories

The main characteristic of Edwardian conservatories is that they are built to a square or rectangular specification. Combining traditional architecture with contemporary design, our Edwardian conservatories allow for plenty of natural light and fantastic views thanks to the large glass panels. Commonly considered as ideal for period properties, our range is perfect for any home due to our use of modern design, technology and the highest quality materials.

Edwardian conservatories are period-style extensions named after the monarch of its time of conception; in this case King Edward VII. Developed as a follow up to the Victorian conservatory, its square or rectangular shape and more subtle design is in stark contrast to the intricate designs of Victorian conservatories.

The Edwardian design allows for more natural light to flood the room thanks to larger glass panels and cleaner cut lines. The shape also allows you to maximise the space, as square/rectangular rooms are better suited for furniture than those with curved walls.

Bespoke Edwardian Conservatory Designs

We’re proud to offer a fully bespoke service for all of our Edwardian conservatories, giving you creative control and allowing you to work with our designers to create the conservatory to suit your exact needs.

Conservatory Materials

Our conservatories are available in uPVC, aluminium and timber finishes, ensuring you find the material best suited to your requirements.

  • uPVC -Available in a range of subtle colours and offers a clean and classic appearance. Highly energy efficient and the best option for sound proofing.
  • Aluminium – Stronger structure than uPVC and greater resistance to corrosion. Same thermal efficiency as uPVC, but due to the stronger structure it can hold larger glass panels to provide optimal garden views.
  • Hardwood - Made of timber, it offers equal strength and thermal efficiency benefits of Aluminium. A unique benefit is its beautifully natural appearance, which can add style and charm to any home.
