At Bergson & Eaton we are very proud of our showroom here in Aylesbury.

Not only is it, as far as we know, the biggest of its type in the area but it is one we’ve built from scratch and revamped a number of times. This is no tired looking warehouse with a few bits and pieces hanging from the walls!

In all seriousness though, it amazes us that people would make a big financial investment on a physical product without getting to grips with it in some way.

I mean you’d…

– Take a car for a test drive before purchase
– Visit a property before you rented/bought it
– Demo a Hi-fi system or HD TV

Why then would you order windows, doors and conservatories based on photos in a salesman’s brochure?

You’d be surprised how many people do.

Only once they’re installed does it dawn on you why they seemed like a bargain. Cheap materials are exactly that, cheap.

One phrase springs to mind from my partner’s Psychology thesis and that phrase is ‘Individual differences’.

The belief that ‘Doors, is doors, is doors’ is a short-sighted one.

Don’t get caught out by cheap and nasty products that leak out heat, offer you little protection and need to be replaced in record quick time.

Come down, have a drink on us and really get a feel for what you’d like.

Variety is the spice of life after all!
